1. Purpose and Scope
This policy defines the academic, attendance, assessment, and administrative requirements learners must fulfil to become eligible for InGrade program completion certification and, where applicable, nomination for third-party certification examinations. Third-party certification examinations may be offered through independent organisations such as IBM, Microsoft, or other certification providers. InGrade will align or nominate learners for these examinations only after they have fulfilled all applicable InGrade requirements. The requirements may vary by program.
2. Attendance Requirements
Learners must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance across scheduled live sessions. Attendance eligibility will be determined using InGrade's official attendance records. If a learner's attendance falls below 85%, they will not be eligible for certification or third-party certification examination alignment until they rejoin a new batch, where required, and fulfil the prescribed attendance and academic requirements. A batch rejoining fee will apply in such cases.
3. LMS Coursework and Academic Submissions
Learners must complete all mandatory assignments, projects, case studies, assessments, and other coursework made available through InGrade's Learning Management System (LMS). All submissions must meet the instructions, deadlines, and quality standards communicated by InGrade or the assigned instructor. Pending or incomplete academic work may affect the learner's eligibility for certification, placement assistance, or third-party certification examination nomination, as applicable.
4. Module Examinations and Final Examination
Learners must attempt and pass every mandatory module-wise examination and the final examination, wherever applicable, with a minimum score of 85% in each mandatory examination. InGrade does not provide examination reattempts. This rule applies to examinations that are failed, skipped, missed, or not attempted within the permitted examination window. A learner who skips a mandatory examination or scores below 85% must rejoin a new batch, pay the applicable batch rejoining fee, and complete the prescribed academic requirements and examinations.
5. Mock Interviews
Where mock interviews form part of a program's mandatory academic or placement requirements, learners must attend and successfully clear them in accordance with the criteria communicated by InGrade. Performance may be assessed on relevant technical knowledge, practical application, communication, problem-solving, and other program-specific competencies. Failure to complete or clear a mandatory mock interview may affect eligibility for the relevant certification or placement process.
6. Exam-Ready Status and Third-Party Examination Nomination
Before a learner is nominated or aligned for a third-party certification examination, InGrade will review their overall academic and administrative eligibility. This review may include:
• Minimum 85% attendance.
• Completion of all mandatory LMS assignments, projects, case studies, and assessments.
• Completion of all instructor-assigned work.
• A score of at least 85% in every mandatory examination.
• Successful completion of the final examination and required internal assessments.
• Successful completion of mock interviews, where applicable.
• Clearance of applicable fees and other mandatory program requirements.
Meeting the above requirements makes a learner eligible for consideration and nomination by InGrade. It does not guarantee that an external certification provider will approve the examination attempt or award a certificate.
7. Certification Requirements and Certificate Release
InGrade may issue its own program completion certificate after the learner has fulfilled all applicable academic and administrative requirements. Unless a program expressly states otherwise in writing, the following conditions apply:
1. The learner must maintain at least 85% attendance.
2. All mandatory module examinations and final examinations must be passed with at least 85% in each examination.
3. All required assignments, projects, case studies, LMS activities, and instructor-assigned work must be completed.
4. All mandatory internal assessments and mock interviews must be completed successfully, where applicable.
5. Any program-specific academic requirements must be fulfilled.
6. All applicable course fees and outstanding dues must be cleared before the certificate is released.
8. Withholding, Suspension, and Revocation of Certificates
InGrade may withhold the release of a certificate or review an issued certificate where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the applicable requirements have not been fulfilled or that the certificate was obtained or used improperly. Circumstances may include: failure to fulfil mandatory academic or attendance requirements; incomplete coursework or assessments; outstanding fees or other applicable dues; falsification of attendance, assessment results, assignments, or academic records; misrepresentation of identity or unauthorised examination assistance; forgery, alteration, or fraudulent use of a certificate.
9. Third-Party Certification Disclaimer
Third-party certifications are governed and awarded by the relevant external certification organisations, not by InGrade. Each external organisation may have its own examination rules, eligibility criteria, registration process, assessment standards, fees, identity verification requirements, and certificate-awarding procedures. InGrade's role is limited to assessing the learner against its applicable program requirements and, where appropriate, facilitating or nominating eligible learners for the relevant external examination. Fulfilling InGrade's requirements does not guarantee examination registration, admission, a passing result, or the award of a third-party certificate.
10. Learner Acknowledgment
By enrolling in an InGrade program, learners acknowledge that:
• Minimum attendance of 85% is mandatory.
• A minimum score of 85% is required in every mandatory examination.
• Mandatory examinations do not have reattempts, including where an examination is skipped or failed.
• Failure to meet applicable attendance or examination requirements may require batch rejoining and payment of the applicable fee.
• All mandatory academic work and assessments must be completed.
• Applicable fees and dues must be cleared before the release of an InGrade certificate.
• Third-party certification nomination is subject to InGrade's eligibility review.
• External certification providers independently determine whether their certificates will be awarded.
• An InGrade program certificate is not automatically equivalent to a university degree, statutory diploma, or professional licence.
